Our Engagement

Homeblown and sustainability

“In its idealized form, surfing has a relatively light environmental impact. Films like Morning of the Earth and Bali High offer iconic images of a planet-loving, surf-centered lifestyle: walking barefoot to a gorgeous break, no neoprene or leash in sight; hand-shaping boards outdoors, shirtless in the sun. Unseen in these soulful images, though, is the impact of the chemicals essential to the boards those surfers rode and the ones most of us ride today.” (Joni Martin)

Driving a high quality process, using the finest and safest technology and basing it on a lean approach to cause the lowest effect on the environment, that is how we think at Homeblown. Sustainability for us means environmental care, efficiency in all productions processes and social care such as educating our staff continuously and sharing our knowledge with others.
