MDI surfblanks: Lighter, stronger, hydrophobic
We are the only company in South Africa having succeeded in the transition to produce MDI surfblanks along EU approved standards. The use of this new alternative was essential to us as making surfboards using traditional blank chemistry would have been against our aim to produce surfblanks that are inline with the strict health and safety regulations in other markets. MDI surfboard blanks also have excellent flex characteristics, and are 15-20 % stronger and more water resistant than any TDI based foam available.
